Biography
He received the B.Sc. degree in information and control engineering from Shanghai JiaoTong University, Shanghai, China, in 1998. From 1998 to 2003, he was a GSM radio network optimization engineer at Shanghai Bell Alcatel Mobile Communication system Co., Ltd., He also led a testing team for GPRS radio network. He obtained his MSc. degree in advanced photonics and communications with distinction in 2004 and PhD degree, from University of Warwick, Coventry, U.K., in 2008. Currently, he is a post-doc fellow with CSIRO ICT centre.
His research interests include reconfigurable antennas and arrays for cognitive radios and MIMO applications, antenna design using periodic structures and, finite-element modelling of periodic structures.
