Biography

Tom was previously involved in solar vehicle racing, from 1996 to 2005, and with a car that employed a CSIRO-developed high-efficiency electric motor. Tom has been working in the CSIRO since 2004 and until 2005 was a member of the since commercialised Funnelback team. Tom has recently commenced a PhD at the Australian National University in information retrieval and maintains a personal interest in human-computer interaction.
