Biography

I completed a Research Master’s Degree at QUT in 2001 on sampling methods for estimating forest biomass. I then worked with the Queensland Department of Primary Industries & Fisheries on estimating fishing power increases in the Queensland otter trawl fleet. The last project I worked as a stock assessment modeller using GPS and catch data from fishing trawlers to estimate abundance and other population parameters. The majority of my current work is looking at longitudinal data analysis of linked datasets, and research on statistical disclosure techniques, especially in regard to regression diagnostics. I also undertake general internal statistical consultancies under the p-Health theme.
I’m married with three boys. Hobby, a fishing tragic!
