Biography

Mei Shen joined CSIRO in 1997. She has been responsible for the development of Monolithic Millimetre_wave Integrated Circuits (MMIC) packaging processes. She has made significant contributions to the success of several research projects, including developing the technological processes and implementing the packaged modules, such as the world first integrated 176-200Ghz Receiver and Transmitters, 81-86GHZ intrgrated Recriver and Transmitters that are essential in the world's first Multi-Gigabit Wireless Link successfully demonstrated at Marsfield on 6-Dec-2006.

Currently Mei is working on the Reconfigurable Radio, Wireless Backhaul, Adaptive Antenna Array, and Boeing-CSIRO Collaborative Research Project on Mm-wave Communication projects.
