Biography

Li Li joined the CSIRO Division of Radio Physics in Jan of 2001. Since then she has worked in the Antenna Group & involved the near field & far field antenna testing and feed measurements for a number of projectors to meet the internal and external customer's needs.

Li also worked on the ICT for the Safeguarding Australia covering Terahertz imaging and multi-spectral imaging test system setup and experiments. A Labview program was developed to control the image acquisition systems.

Currently Li is working for the ASKAP projects in two areas:
1. ASKAP antennas - contribute ASKAP Antennas design and delivery
2. ASKAP EMC Activities - Develop EMI test hardware and software (Matlab) to perform the EMI measurements for the equipment and devices which are going used at MRO site and have to be RFI quite to prevent astronomy site contamination.

Before Li joined CSIRO, she was an EMC Engineer at ADI Limited. She was involved with EMC/EMI testing & familiar with national, international & military EMC/EMI standards. She was granted as a NATA EMI signatory in 1998.

2006 Finalist in the IEAust Engineering Excellence Awards, Installation of two receive/transmit CSIRO MultiBeam Antennas at Danish Radio (Copenhagen, Denmark).
