Biography

I finished by first degree in Engineering (B.Eng(Hons))at the Swinburne University of Technology in 1993, when I finished I was employed by several R&D conmpanies designing RF equipment from an analogue mobile phone to broadcast 2 way radio equipment. In 1996 I was employed by NEC Australia to design the radio receiver equipment for their point to point Rural Radio Telephony equipement, this was to provide a communications solution in the bush.
I commenced a Masters Degree in Engineering at Victoria University of Technology by Research, it was based on research into Parallel Interference Cancellation Techniques for a CDMA system, this degree was completed in 2000. From 2001 I joined a comapany called Advanced communications Technologies to design RF down converters for the Software based radios. In 2003 I joined KTI to design a series of Emergency Beacons. In march of 2010 I joined the CSIRO - ICT centre, whereby I have been actively envolved in the Ngara project.
