Biography
Dr Julian Jang-Jaccard has been working as a research scientist at CSIRO ICT Centre since 2002. Her research goal has been on developing novel theory and tools to build reliable web services applications. Towards the goal she has focused her research efforts in (a) evaluation of middleware technologies, workflow managements, and web services technologies (b) developing a new programming model to define automated business processes (c) developing a new isolation model for web services applications (d) trust models and protocols for applications run on collaborative environment. Currently she’s working on cyber security on large-scale internet applications. Prior to join CSIRO, she worked as a professional java developer and database administrator - she’s a certified java developer and oracle DBA - at an Australian industry for over 2 years. She has PhD and Mater’s degree from University of Sydney. She obtained her bachelor from the University of Western Sydeny.
