Biography

Jim Liu is PhD student from the Speech Audio Image and Video Laboratory, faculty of built environment engineering, Qeensland University of Technology. His research focus is on distributed low power image processing in wireless sensor networks for intelligent video surveillance. He is supervised by Dr Tim Wark at CSIRO and Prof. Sirdha Sridharan at QUT.

Jim holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Telecommunications) degree with first class Honours from Queensland University of Technology. His previous interaction with CSIRO involves a vacation traineeship in 2008.
