Biography
James is a senior software engineer at the Tasmanian ICT Centre and he is currently working on the Energy Services project under the Energy Transformed Flagship.
James has both research and commercial software engineering experience in the Petroleum industry having worked on geophysical and petrophysical systems at CSIRO Petroleum in Melbourne, Paradigm Geophysical in Brisbane and Shell International Exploration and Production in the Netherlands.
He also has communications experience having worked for Boeing Australia in Brisbane and satellite communications experience having worked at SES-Astra in Luxembourg. SES-Astra are the leading provider of digital TV services in Europe and a major contributor to the digital video broadcasting (DVB) standard.
