Biography

I began my career over 12 years ago, as a software engineer, with a Bachelor of Science majoring in computer science from the University of Queensland, I have spent most of my career in senior tester, test team leadership and management roles.

Prior to taking the position at EHRC, I worked in the health industry at DSTC, on their Health Connect trial in a senior testing position. I have also had experience with several venture capital funded start-up companies, providing significant input into engineering process, leadership and product quality.

The start-up companies were Wedgetail Communications a security software company, where he held senior testing, and managerial positions, and Astracon a telecommunications provisioning solution provider, as the test team leader.

As a test team member I have always used my software engineering background to build and maintain automated test systems and system emulation environments, mostly in Java and C with some perl.
