Biography
Damien O'Rourke joined CSIRO in September 2008. He holds a PhD from Dublin City University which he obtained in January 2009. He also holds a research masters degree from the same university where he studied side-channel attacks on embedded cryptosystems using signal processing. After his masters he took a full-time lecturing position where he delivered courses on signal processing, Internetwork security, circuit theory, as well as supervising a number of taught masters students. His current research interests include Wireless Sensor Networks, Wireless Multimedia Sensor Networks, Audio and Image signal processing, data fusion, Cooperative/MIMO communications, and general digital signal processing techniques. He is a member of the IEEE society.
