Biography

I completed an apprenticeship as a Fitter and Turner with BHP Slab and Plate, Number 1 Machine Shop and additional machining, hydraulics, pneumatics, drafting and CAD modelling certificates at TAFE in 1995.

I then worked in a variety of roles as a Fitter and Turner, CNC Programmer, Machinist and Prototype Development Manager for 11 years before joining CSIRO.

I started with CSIRO in 2006 to work within CSIROs Wireless technologies Lab workshop and I have been involved in the manufacture and setup of automated antenna range equipment and measurement projects, the mechanical design and manufacture of a 100 element l-band antenna array and the design and manufacture of mechanical componentry for lab projects.
