Biography

Dr Andrew Hellicar has engaged in research across a broad range of areas by drawing upon his expertise and interests in mathematical sciences, software and physics. Andrew's PhD thesis introduced novel basis functions for the solution of electromagnetic problems, and he has researched methods of solving problems in computational electromagnetics via distributed computing methods.

In recent years he has explored a range of areas contributing to projects in terahertz imaging, rural communication systems and satellite systems.
