Biography
I graduated in 1983 from University of Sarajevo at Telecommunications Department. For the next 5.5 years I worked for a big company "Energoinvest" mostly as a hardware engineer, developing modems and some other telephony equipment.
Upon arriving to Australia in 1989 I took a job with "Alcatel Stc" and spent 6 months on development of small business telephone system. In 1990 I joined Sydney University where I worked on a commercial project sponsored by Canon. This included development of modem for Canon V.33 fax machine.
In 1993 I worked for "Ausset" on the development of L-band tracking satellite antenna that was a joint project with CSIRO. When "Aussat" became "Optus" they stopeed work on this project. After this I joined CSIRO to continue working on this project till it became a commercial product. Since then I worked on several interesting projects including indoor/outdoor radio propagation and radio-based position location systems.
