The current application of Tiddler is for customising tourism information, based on the user’s stated interests and itinerary. We are also developing techniques for capturing user needs and preferences to generate tailored documents.

Adding value to information is about new ways of delivering information that take into account where and how the information is to be used. This involves placing the user, rather than the information, at the center of the system design process. 

We are researching mechanisms for automatically collecting data from diverse sources, integrating it, removing redundancy and delivering it in real time in a format appropriate to the delivery platform.

CSIRO is looking for industry partners interesting in participating in the further commercial development of TIDDLER as research partners, information or service providers, or investors.
