See our new website at research.ict.csiro.au Antenna SystemsAntenna research at CSIRO has a long history: the 50th birthday was celebrated in 1993 by the IEEE Antenna and Propagation Society1. From then to the present day, CSIRO has maintained an active research program in antennas, publishing over 350 journal papers, conference papers, and book chapters, and delivering major antenna systems for satellite communications and radioastronomy to Australian and international customers, and carrying out significant work in antennas for radar, wireless LAN, mm-wave systems, and electronic warfare.
The current research into antenna systems is focussed in the following areas: The former CSIRO “Electromagnetics and Antennas” group worked mainly in the areas of reflector antennas and feed systems for satellite communications and radioastronomy. While this work is less emphasised in our current research, we maintain capabilities and services in this area. Descriptions of our capabilities can be found here: If you are interested in these areas, please contact us with your requirements and we can advise you about possible services or collaborations.
