Laurie Wilson received a PhD degree in Cosmic Ray Physics from
the University of Sydney in 1973, and after working in Atmospheric
Physics at the University of Oxford, joined the Ultrasonics

an international reputation for research in medical ultrasound.
After this group transferred into CSIRO he broadened his interest to

Virtual Critical Care Unit. He also leads the Human Factors in
Telepresence group, which contributes to most of CeNTIE’s
applications.
Laurie has published widely, and is frequently invited to address
