Enterprise Architect, Information Systems and Technology – Novell Asia Pacific

Paul Voulas is currently the Enterprise Architect, Information Systems and Technology - Novell Asia Pacific Region and has been in this position since joining Novell in October 1997. Paul reports directly to the Regional Chief Information Officer – Novell Asia Pacific.

As the Enterprise Architect Asia Pacific Region Paul’s responsibilities include:

• Leading the architecture, development of strategic technical systems across the Region.
• The implementation of the Region’s local and wide-area networks.
• The development and implementation of strategic enterprise information systems, supporting Novell's deployment of One Net strategy.
• Representing IS&T on multiple Engineering Teams, contributing to solution features and functionality.

Using his strong IT background as a foundation Paul has transformed the Asia Pacific Information and Technology Team into a ground breaking and forward thinking unit that is focused on developing value add technical solutions.

In turn these value add solutions have been taken by the Novell Sales Organisation to many of Novell's customers where they have been received with great interest because of their simplicity and major cost saving benefits.

Prior to working for Novell, Paul held a number of IT management positions over a period of 18 years in various organisations in the Finance and Manufacturing industries, including Zurich Insurance and Toyota.
