Chris O'Sullivan

BSc (Hons) (Elec Eng)

Chris graduated from the University of London and worked in Intellectual Property in the UK for five years before migrating to Australia. He was registered as a patent attorney in Australia in 1990 and joined F B RICE & CO as a partner in 1995. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys of Australia (IPTA) and of the Academy of IPTA. Chris has served as a Director on the Supervisory Board of Computer Patent Annuities, and he is currently President of the Australian group of AIPPI.

Chris specialises in patenting all aspects of electronics, software, control and security systems and, more recently, information technologies and expert systems developed for service industries. He has appeared as an expert witness in patent litigation, and has been involved in small and large scale litigation support.
