Seminar Series: Technology Trends 2003
Quantum Informatics
Quantum informatics is a burgeoning field of research
that is bringing together physicists, computer scientists and engineers
into one of the most exciting research endeavours in recent times.
Quantum information science offers great promise for
applications such as guaranteed secure cryptographic communication
and computers that can make difficult-to-solve problems solvable.
This lecture presents a general explanation of quantum
